This is my most festive picture from the past week. Unfortunately there is no snow here in Oxford so I didn’t have a white Christmas this year, but we still had plenty to celebrate did plenty of celebrating here in the horseshoe. Pictured above is part of our “tree” which really just a holly bush that now lives in our living room. It was already festive with green leaves and red berries, we just needed to add some candles. We also added some corn that did not quite make it to term, displaying the dried husks like a flower (data not shown). I don’t really need to explain what happens when you mix candles, dried vegetation and copious amounts of booze, but we can say that the results were predictable and hilarious. Happy Holidays to everyone.
