Claire came to visit over the Christmas break, and I have a lot more to share about that trip, but that is on my list of things to do this weekend. I was going through the pile of pictures that I took during her trip, and this one stood out to me. I managed to snap a picture of her taking a picture of a famous landmark. I tried this trick quite often, but this was the first one and also the best shot. They say a picture is worth a thousand words – this picture sums up the entire trip to me.
1/20s f/6.3 70mm ISO 3200. No adjustments. Au revior until next week.
The first time Momsy and I saw Big Ben in the city od Westminster, London in 1978; we took the first picture when it rang at 11:45 AM. I can still hear the chimes.
Da
we heard the chimes this day, too! I recall jumping up and down when it happened. I agree, N, sums the whole trip!
