Foto Friday XLIX

This picture was taken standing in the middle of a street here in Oxford (Binsey Lane) a couple of weeks back when a lot of the UK was being affected by flooding.  I interpreted this natural disaster to be a unique photo opportunity, and strapped on my wellies and wandered around town to capture Oxford underwater.  Check out my online gallery.

1/100s f/5.6 60mm ISO 3200. No adjustments.  Au revior until next week.

  1. Wow, those photos are unbelievable. Seeing the allotments and Port Meadow so underwater was sad. How long before the water receded? Was there any major damage to important buildings at the University?
