This is a row of what I think may be authentic Tudor housing in Stratford upon Avon. I say I think because there are a lot of Tudor style buildings around, but not nearly as many that are authentic. Tudor houses were usually made with timber which was sometimes coated in tar, but always cut by hand so there were no straight lines like we would see from machined wood today. I hope this picture illustrates how uneven the timber in this particular block of houses is.
