Last weekend was so nice I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue to enjoy the sunshine so I went for a nice long run. As I was stretching afterwards this little ladybug landed on my shirt. I gently placed her down on the grass and politely asked her to wait for me to run upstairs and get my camera. Luckily for me she stuck around for a while. I spent the next 30 minutes learning my camera and trying to take a picture of a small insect that was very quickly crawling all over blades of grass and small twigs. I liked three out of about 100 pictures, but this was my favorite as it shows her climbing from one grass blade to the next.

I love this picture! You can even see the cilia(or whatever it is called) on the grass.
